Bezel Set Diamond Half Eternity Band, 19 Diamonds, 18ct Gold or Platinum

Nineteen full cut round diamonds run across the top of this band, each 1.5mm across and coming to approximately 0.25ct in total.

Bezel setting surrounds each stone with a thin rim of metal that follows its outline, rather than holding it with claws. Two things follow from that. The rim protects the edge of each diamond, which is where a stone is most vulnerable to knocks, and it sits flush so there is nothing to catch on clothing. Both make it a practical choice for a ring worn every day.

Visually, the metal rims draw a circle around each stone, so instead of one continuous line of light you see nineteen distinct diamonds, each outlined. It is a cleaner, more graphic look than a claw or bead set band of the same size.

The diamonds are graded G for colour and VS for clarity, meaning they read as white to the eye and any inclusions need magnification to see. We are happy to confirm the origin of the diamonds in this ring, whether natural or lab grown, before you buy, so please just ask.

Half eternity means the stones cover the top half of the ring only, leaving the underside as plain metal, which sits more comfortably against the neighbouring fingers and makes the ring easier to resize later.

The band measures 2.48mm across the top and narrows to 1.7mm at the base, giving the bezels room to sit while keeping the ring slim underneath.

Choose 18ct yellow gold, 18ct white gold, 18ct rose gold or platinum. Gold pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office, which independently verifies the metal content.

Made by hand in our own workshop at The Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, so we can size it for you and look after it in future rather than sending it away.
