Teal Sapphire Half Eternity Ring in Platinum

Teal sapphires of 3mm each run across the top of this band, graduated so the colour shifts along the row from deep ocean blue at one end through to lighter teal at the other.

Each stone is chosen individually to sit in that sequence, which is why no two of these rings come out quite the same. Teal sapphire is the blue green variety of the stone, and because sapphires occur in a range of natural colours the graduation is built from the stones themselves rather than added.

The setting is channel, which holds the stones between two raised walls of metal running along either edge, with no claws at all. They sit flush and level with the surface, so the top of the ring is smooth and will not catch on clothing, which makes it practical for everyday wear.

The band is solid platinum. Platinum is denser and harder wearing than gold, and it holds its white colour without plating, so it never needs re-whitening.

We are happy to confirm the origin of the sapphires in this ring, whether natural or lab grown, and to tell you about any treatment they have had, so please just ask before you buy.

Half eternity means the stones cover the top half of the ring only, leaving the underside as plain metal, which sits more comfortably against the neighbouring fingers and makes the ring easier to resize later.

It works as a wedding ring, an anniversary ring or an eternity band, and the colour means it sits well alongside both white and yellow metals.

Made by hand in our own workshop at The Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, so we can size it for you and look after it in future rather than sending it away.
