Oval Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring, 18ct Gold or Platinum

An oval cut diamond is longer than it is wide, which tends to make the finger look longer and makes the stone appear larger than a round diamond of the same weight.

This one is held in a six claw setting, so three claws grip each end of the oval. That matters on this shape, because the narrow points are where an oval is most easily knocked, and six claws hold the stone more securely than four while still leaving the sides open to the light.

You choose your centre diamond on this page, and we set it by hand in our own workshop in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, so please allow two to three weeks.
