Natural Baguette Diamond Anniversary Band, 0.25ct, 18ct Gold or Platinum

Nine straight baguette diamonds sit in a line across the top of this band, each 3mm by 1.25mm and coming to approximately 0.25ct in total. The diamonds are natural.

A baguette is a long rectangular cut with step cut facets, meaning flat planes running parallel to the edges rather than the many small triangular facets of a round brilliant. That gives a cleaner flash of light rather than fine sparkle, and because the ends are straight the stones sit end to end with no gaps, so the row reads as one unbroken line of diamond.

Alignment matters on a design like this, since any stone sitting slightly out of true is immediately visible against the straight edges, which is why the setting is done by hand in our own workshop.

The diamonds are graded G for colour and VS for clarity, meaning they read as white to the eye and any inclusions need magnification to see.

The band is a slim 1.9mm wide and holds that width all the way round rather than tapering, which gives it a clean even profile on the finger and makes it easy to wear stacked or alongside an engagement ring.

Choose 18ct yellow gold, 18ct white gold, 18ct rose gold or platinum. Gold pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office, which independently verifies the metal content.
