Milgrain Edge Diamond Wedding Band, 0.25ct, 18ct Gold or Platinum

Nineteen round full cut diamonds run across the top of this band, each 1.3mm across and coming to approximately 0.25ct in total.

Milgrain is the row of tiny beads worked into the metal along both edges of the band. The detail is cut by hand with a fine wheel and it does two things: it softens the edges so they do not read as a hard line, and it catches light in a different way to the polished surface, which gives the band a slightly antique look.

It is a traditional finish, often seen on older rings, and it suits a band like this where the stones are small and set in a continuous line.

The diamonds are graded G for colour and VS for clarity, meaning they read as white to the eye and any inclusions need magnification to see. We are happy to confirm the origin of the diamonds in this ring, whether natural or lab grown, before you buy, so please just ask.

The band measures 3mm wide, which is broad enough for the milgrain edges to show clearly either side of the stone line.

Choose 18ct yellow gold, 18ct white gold, 18ct rose gold or platinum. Gold pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office, which independently verifies the metal content.

Made by hand in our own workshop at The Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, so we can size it for you and look after it in future rather than sending it away.
