Three Quarter Eternity Ring, 23 Diamonds, 0.70ct, 18ct Gold or Platinum
- Description
Twenty three round white diamonds run around this ring, each 2mm across and coming to approximately 0.70ct in total, which is the heaviest diamond weight in our anniversary and eternity range.
The stones cover three quarters of the band rather than the full circle. That leaves a section of plain metal at the base, which sits against the palm side of the finger where it is least visible, and it brings two practical advantages: the ring can be resized more easily than a full eternity ring, and it costs less while looking the same from above.
The diamonds are described as melee, the trade term for small stones set in groups rather than used as a centre stone. We are happy to confirm the origin of the diamonds in this ring, whether natural or lab grown, before you buy, so please just ask.
Each stone is claw set, which means small metal prongs hold it at the edges, leaving the sides open so light passes through and reaches the stone from more directions than a solid setting allows.
The diamonds are graded G for colour and VS for clarity, meaning they read as white to the eye and any inclusions need magnification to see.
The band measures 1.95mm wide, which is slim for this weight of diamond and keeps the focus on the stones rather than the metal.
Choose 18ct yellow gold, 18ct white gold or platinum, hallmarked so the metal content is independently verified.
Made by hand in our own workshop at The Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, so we can size it for you and look after it in future rather than sending it away.
