Bezel Set Round and Marquise Diamond Band, 0.25ct, 18ct Gold or Platinum

Eleven diamonds run across the top of this band, six marquise cuts at 3mm by 1.5mm alternating with five round full cuts at 1.3mm, coming to approximately 0.25ct in total.

Bezel setting surrounds each stone with a thin rim of metal that follows its outline, rather than holding it with claws. Because the rim traces the shape of each diamond, the difference between the pointed marquise stones and the round ones is drawn in metal as well as in the stones themselves, so the pattern reads clearly even from a distance.

A bezel also protects the edges of the stone and sits flush, so there is nothing to catch on clothing, which suits a ring worn every day.

A marquise is an elongated cut, pointed at both ends, and because it is longer than it is wide it covers more of the band than a round stone of the same weight.

The diamonds are graded G for colour and VS for clarity, meaning they read as white to the eye and any inclusions need magnification to see. We are happy to confirm the origin of the diamonds in this ring, whether natural or lab grown, before you buy, so please just ask.

The band measures 2.5mm across the top and narrows to 1.9mm at the base, giving the bezels room to sit while keeping the ring slim underneath.

Choose 18ct yellow gold, 18ct white gold, 18ct rose gold or platinum. Gold pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office, which independently verifies the metal content.

Made by hand in our own workshop at The Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, so we can size it for you and look after it in future rather than sending it away.
