The Diamond Setter®: a name shaped by craftsmanship

The Diamond Setter®: a name shaped by craftsmanship

I’m delighted to share that The Diamond Setter® is now a registered trade mark.

For Gavin and me, this is a meaningful milestone. It recognises the name we’ve built around our work, our values and the experience we want every customer to have.

Our story began in 2020, when we returned to the UK ready for a new chapter. When the pandemic put our plans on hold, we had to start again. The Diamond Setter grew from that moment, shaped by Gavin’s decades of experience as a master jeweller and diamond setter, and by our shared belief that buying or caring for jewellery should feel personal and straightforward.

Today, our atelier and workshop sit together on The Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells. Customers can meet the people designing, making and setting their jewellery, and see craftsmanship taking place just beyond the showroom. From bespoke engagement and wedding rings to remodelling and repairs, we take pride in giving every piece careful attention.

Registering the name feels like a natural step as the business grows. It celebrates how far we’ve come and helps protect the identity we’ve worked hard to build.

The symbol may be new, but what matters most to us remains the same: honest advice, thoughtful design and skilled work carried out with care.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with a special ring, a treasured repair or a piece of family jewellery. You’ve helped make The Diamond Setter what it is.

If you’re thinking about a bespoke piece, a remodel or a repair, we’d love to welcome you to our workshop on The Pantiles.

Best wishes,

Lorraine
